Hot Hot Hot

I'm talking about the temperature! It's muggy here on the east coast! I'm finding it to be strange here - it's hot and muggy in the day and then it gets very very cool at night. I am guessing it must be because we are so close to the Atlantic and the east winds bring coolness. So during the day I wish I had an air conditioner and at night I'm thinking about my electric blanket! :) This must be like the desert except for the humidity.

The weather is crazy here on the east coast. Today while we were in the city it was cold and rainy, when we got back to town it was so hot we were sweating. It was only 20 minute drive. lol Now its really cool out and I had to shut all my windows where as this afternoon they were all opened and it was still too warm.

Well, it's just hot here! 80 degrees at 8:30 at night. At least you get a break. ;)

Only 80 Tiffany??? Only reason it's that cool here is we had rain right about nightfall and the clouds allowed it to cool off - all of last week it was over 80 at 6 in the morning... so much fun - why do I like the Gulf Coast???? Oh yeah, wintertime!

Ummmm this dessert isn't getting cold nights anymore either this time of year *sigh* Thankfully we are back down to 112 F area after 3 days of excessive heat advisories (up to 118F). Our nights are still in the mid to upper 80s this time of year and this is just the beginning of summer.

But it's a dry heat ... not that that means anything much once you go above a certain temperature. Hot is hot! We're headed towards monsoon season though ... then it'll be like a steam bath ... yikes!
Airconditioning is pretty much our best friend around here!!

Well Im sitting here wishing for some HEAT so send it my way Please.... just send it care to tappy down under:D I've got 3 layers on , my ugg boots with socks thank you & trackies (Im such a fashion plate ,,, reallllly :eek: ) right on top of the heater. They think it may snow around here , first time in 50yrs!! now wouldnt that be a sight, never seen snow actual falling, and my first time in snow was when we moved here from the Perth (think Arizonia dessert for perth!!] .... so trade ya!!
