View Full Version : Can I brag on my baby?

Well, she's not my baby any more-she's almost 7, but....
She took swim lessons last week and when she left she was a better swimmer but the instructor said he wouldn't feel comfortable leaving her in the deep end without a noodle. Well, we went swimming on Saturday and she jumped off the diving board into the deep AND swam by herself to the shallow end of the pool!!!!! She did it over and over!
And tonight she auditioned for her first commercial! I don't think she'll get the part but the process was fun for both of us..... I'm soooo proud! Did I mention I was proud?

oH WOW of course you can brag....I bet she was just as proud as mom was to accomplish swimming plus trying out for a part....

nothing wrong with a proud MUM!!!! you never know she may become famous and I can say I knew her from the LO's her mum posted!!!

Well, we didn't cast (we were going for mom and daughter), but I'm ok with it. I have worked with the director/producer before in a drinking and driving commercial that ran state wide (its on my blog) and he was sooo nice. He called me himself and said he would give us a copy of the audition for Ashleigh to have! Wasn't that sweet??????
And I am officially a bad mom.....no I didn't take pics of either event!!!!! I didn't being my camera to the audition (it was VERY low key, think opposite of J*n Benet) and we were just....you know swimming , when the other happened!!!! LOL....can y'all forgive me????

Wow Trish, she's a little fish..good for her. I'm glad she's not afraid of the water. So many children are and that's why such dreadful things happen.
I can't believe you didn't take a camera :eek: Yes, we forgive you..;)
