NOT in the mood to scrap

I am so not motivated right now. Maybe it's b/c i edited/sorted 142 photos all day yesterday. And have spent today choosing 20 of my favs to make a special album for my sister for her birthday. I'm taking her and painting the background black on a few 5x7. I've done 10 today

I took some photos of selah and roger yesterday, and know i should do a page or two w/ them but i just want to sit here i think.....

Ever have days where you feel like you have no creativity? Thats me today.
:( I wouldn't even know how to START a layout right now!!!


Could it be the hormones?


OH, and my DH Roger, he actually cleaned the kitchen, and did laundery and other tidying last night so I wouldn't have to do it today. All I've had to do was pick up our mess from this morning....isn't he great? And on father's day too!

I have those days, yes! *lol* And right now I'm having one of those days where I have an idea of what I want to scrap...but it just seems like so much work....*lol* I've had photoshop open for an hour, and I have part of a background pieced together. ack...

Yes, I've been having a couple of those too recently. On the one hand just sit here and not do anything would be nice (it's been nothing but go go go go for months ... ok make that years, having newborn twins wasn't a walk in the park either hahaha) but on the other hand I have at least one of two LOs inside of me that NEED to come out, on top of those that "just" want to, but I can't quite get to them *sigh*

AND I have to do my own cleaning LOL ... Can I borrow Roger for a bit? :D Actually I would settle for my cleaning to just stay that way for longer than 5 min .... never mind someone else doing my cleaning ... yep, that would already be an improvement lol

It's probably a delayed reaction to the recital stress day. And if it is hormones better rest up, because that "end phase nesting thing " is going to hit you soon enough and you'll be unstopable again :D

We all have those days. I have had quite a few recently. The stress of everything I suppose, which is probably your issue as well. There has been so much going on with you and you have your hormone issues. ;)

Right now I'm so frustrated....my creative juices are zero.....I have these two ideas for a layout and it's just not coming together in my head....so guess what....I'm not scrapping anything....One is a story about "Coming to America" I started that while my daughter was here and it just wasn't coming together the way I wanted...so it's set aside for now....another one is a Diet one and about getting thin.....I have all the pictures collected I just can't get the composition down...

So what have I been doing, enjoying looking at the gallery and stressing because I need to get homework done....

Well the other thing is we've been so darn busy around here, with my daughters visit, 2 birthdays and father's day....sheesh!

I can relate - this weekend the weather wouldn't cooperate. I had to unplug the computer because of all the thunderstorms. And this week is one of "those" weeks at work - I feel like it's just sapping the creative juices right out of me.

OMG, is there something in the air.? I feel exactly the same way. I've been this way for awhile now though but I know part of it is that I've been rather ill.
I can only sit here for a little while each time and I want to do something I just can't get myself to..:mad: I know how frustrating it can be Steph. I think Stacey's idea is a good one , ready made. hmmmmmm, that's sounding better and better to me..Let's hope we get out of this funk really soon...;)

Will you guys stop!!! its leaked to down under!!! have had a day off work, ok I have a touch of flu but I can always still scrap (would have to have both hands in plaster or be in a coma not to open lappie) but nothing would come out right, started and deleted about 3 seperate LO's :mad:

I feel ya Steph, its your hormones girl!! no way your creative juices will ever dry up, their too deep for that.....Im seriously think Stacey's idea is a goer....

The condition you're describing Stephanie is not "age specific." Ha! I worked on one simple layout for hours and hours, trashed it and started over. Think this malady affects all of us sometimes.

I have those days. I actually have weeks like that. I haven't done a LO for about a week. And I hate to force myself because I'm never satisfied and it usually goes unfinished. I just wait it out, and try to get other things done.
