I can't wait to do a layout (first I need to take a picture!) of this little sweet kitten. We waited 18 months to get a cat because we couldn't have one in married housing. We unloaded the moving van last Monday and went to the pet store on Wednesday (that's as long as we could hold off!). Alannah is on a cloud and is not so lonely as I expected her to be.

So . . . be expecting a layout soon from me on what she's named, what she looks like, etc. :)

Ah how sweet, I agree with Mary. I can't wait to hear what Alannah names the new kitty. :)

Awwww how cute! I did think that getting a new couch and a new cat all in the same day may be a dangerous combination, but I can imagine Lani just couldn't wait any longer!! I look forward to the numerous cat, cat/Alannah and cat with the rest photos and LOs!!

I love kitties!! I've had at least one cat for 25 years. We were catless for a few months before we got the two we now have. (Jessie and Chloe are littermates.) They are now nearing 8 years old and as snooty as ever! Actually, they love DH and me as long as we don't let the dog out! Can't wait to see your kitty.

The kitten is 9 weeks old and for the past two nights has crawled in bed with Alannah. We'll see if she does so again. I had put the cat in her kitty kennel the night before that, to get her used to the room and then put the kennel on the floor two nights ago so she might know where we expected her to sleep.

This cat is a Godsend for my social butterfly. Our home is lovely, but in the country on a 3-acre lot with no little girls running around like we had in a married housing complex in Missouri. Plus, she's so darn cute! I will take a photo tomorrow, promise!

What a cute kitty! I miss having cats! I had them all my life until I moved to NY - now DH and my MIL are allergic, so only dogs for us! Of course, our dogs think they're cats! ;)
