Introducing the November 2011 Issue of the Artisan Notebook ™
“Mom! Grandma! Auntie! Tell me a story!” Children and adults of all ages love hearing stories about family members and themselves, and this month’s issue of The Artisan Notebook is an depth-look at the story-telling in our scrapbook pages. Our seven creative teams share how they followed our journaling prompts and challenges in our Color Challenge, Recipe for Design, Title challenge, Just Write challenge, Scraplift challenge, Lyrical challenge and our Inspiration Station feature.
The spotlight is on Sahlin Studio, a designer who embodies the story-telling spirit in her beautiful scrapbook designs. She has a gift for our readers, plus a coupon to her store.
Tangie Baxter of Studio Tangie presents readers with journaling prompts and inspiration from her Art Journal Caravan band of travelers.
Victorian Rose Designs continues to give direction to readers creating Life Books and includes instructions on three areas to focus on this month for research. She also has some word art for readers.
Susan Reynolds has written a thoughtful article on why it’s important to include pages in your scrapbook about you. She includes a story about her love of reading now that cool weather has arrived in her part of the world.
Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs provides readers with a 12×12 template and her creative team inspires us to journal. She also has a coupon to her store for you.
Editor Stacey Jewell Stahl shares a couple of tutorials on her favorite text techniques.
As always, we have a Hot Trend layout and Sheryl Cody’s scraplift of it. The magazine ends with our Happy Ending.
FREE GIFTS for our readers include designs from Dee Bee Designs, Studio Tangie, Sahlin Studio, Fiddle-Dee-Dee. Coupons included are from Creations by Tina Marie, Sahlin Studio and Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs.
The magazine is published between the first and fifth of each month. The magazine is one of the benefits of Guild Membership. Details about memberships can be found here.
