Introducing the December 2011 Issue of the Artisan Notebook
It’s the happiest season of all, and our December 2011 issue reflects the joy and wonder of Christmas, gift-giving, card making, calendar making and more. We couldn’t end the year without giving a shout out to Project 365 too.
Our site spotlight shines on The Digichick, a site known for its amazing designers and hybrid designers. Enjoy the Scrapped Contest kit made by their designers and participate in the One-Word Photo Contest sponsored by TDC. Prizes include a $20 gift certificate for first place for both contests.
Fei Fei’s Stuff is in the designer spotlight, and she has a beautiful tropical Christmas kit for our readers. Get to know her and view her creative team members’ work using her lovely designs.
Michelle Shefveland joins us this month for an article on digital painting, and Amy Martin provides our readers with two templates that can be used for Project 365 layouts. Tangie Baxter reflects on another year on her Art Journal Caravan, and Victorian Rose Designs finishes her LifeBook series with us. Susan Reynolds focuses her heritage article on Christmas decorations and her joy of celebrating both the sacred and the secular at Christmas. Sandy Mauk presents a hybrid project for Christmas tags with two templates for you to use.
For inspirational challenges, check out the inspiration our seven creative teams: journaling challenge, title challenge, song lyric challenge, recipe challenge, scraplift challenge, and color challenge. Our Inspiration Station team has created calendars, cards, Project 365 layouts and Christmas layouts for you.
Free gift list: Two templates from Amy Martin, two hybrid project templates from Sandy Mauk, a tropical Christmas kit from Fei Fei’s Stuff, a Scrapped Contest kit from The Digichick designers and a Christmas word art set from Victorian Rose Designs.
